These cabinets reside in the same room as the larger ones so therefore an Oriental influence has been incorporated in the design. Macassar ebony casings with doors laid in Masur birch, strung and lipped in ebony, reflect a similarity to the larger cabinets. The decorative, framed plinths were constructed in solid Macassar ebony. The interior laid in plain and rippled maple contain sliding galleried shelves with flocked drawers to contain cutlery. Flush ebony handles have been applied to the drawers.
